I first ran into Kyle at the Stritz's anniversary party in November 2023. Before I even saw him, I heard his laugh from across the room. It was infectious. It was more than enough to turn my head. Little did I know, his laugh and smile caught my attention from the very beginning.

Then New Year's Eve came around, and guess who showed up at the Stritz's house? I was like, What?! There he is again!

As time went on, though, we kept crossing paths. I spent more time hanging out at the Stritz's house, playing cards, and, lo and behold, Kyle was always there too. We quickly became friends, and I couldn't get over how truly kind, sweet, and absolutely genuine he was. We laughed together constantly, and being around him easily became the very best part of my day.

On February 25, 2024, we connected and talked for hours, where we laughed and laughed, and yet all through text messages. It felt like we'd had known each other for years and years...kind of like we were just waiting for each other this whole time.

A few days later, Kyle asked me out on a date. Instead of sending a text this time, he was a true gentleman and picked up the phone and called me. From the very beginning, there was something very special about him.

For our first date, he took me to Luna's Italian Restaurant on the island in Venice. While we were waiting for our food, the owner came over to say hello. Kyle introduced me, and the owner looked at me and said, "This is the nicest guy you'll ever meet. I've known him since he was this little." And as it turns out, he was absolutely right. Simply put, he was the nicest guy I had ever met.

On the drive home, Kyle reached over and held my hand for the very first time. It was such a simple moment, but one I'll never forget. Every moment felt special, easy, and a even little bit magical.

What began as friends playing cards and hanging out at the Stritz's house, slowly became something only God knew was in the cards. Over time, what started out as friends, grew into the love we share today. Through all the laughs, adventures, and quiet moments together, here we are, over two years later, excited to become The Skogs. We are overjoyed to share our special day with each one of you!!
